COMPETITION 03 WINNERS

Without a doubt the judging of this competition has been very difficult. The brief asked the designers to look at many different aspects of design, and the range of solutions we received was astounding. Adding to the difficulty of choosing the winners was the widely differing backgrounds and views of the judges. There were many important aspects we wanted to consider in the judging, including amongst others brand awareness, technological awareness, presentation skills and number of ideas, with each judge having their own unique thoughts on how to weight these. We did however manage to choose!

Before announcing the winners though, we would like to say thank you to all who entered. This has been our most popular competition to date, and with over sixty entries gave the judges a lot of work to choose between. The work received showed a level of interest in aspects of design other than styling that we did not expect, yet were glad to see. DesignerTechniques would also therefore like to thank the judges, without whom the competition would not be possible.
