RENDERDEMO review
www.renderdemo.com

DesignerTechniques has always encouraged young potential designers to explore as many areas of design and drawing as possible. This helps ensure your skills are well rounded and at a high level...even if you intend a career of drawing cars as much as possible. You never know though, you may find footwear design is a passion you never knew you had. The footwear design industry is after all a relatively common career for automotive trained designers.

RenderDemo is a relatively new company founded by Mark Kokavec to provide instructional DVDs on the skills and techniques involved in footwear design. Mark, a graduate of both automotive and product design courses at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, uses the DVDs to demonstrate how he works in Photoshop, Illustrator and SketchBook Pro to create eye catching renders.

Whether you intend to draw footwear or not, the techniques displayed should certainly inspire new ways to create your own artwork. The DVDs are very relaxed, and watching how somebody else works, is always a useful way to find new ways to work. Even for experienced designers.

Visit, www.renderdemo.com to find out more about Mark, as well as RenderDemos upcoming new releases from other artists in the footwear industry. The site also features a forum where you can discuss techniques, as well as a gallery where you can submit your own work.
